Snowmobiling in Manitoba
Whiteshell Provincial Park is a serene, graceful wilderness, especially during winter’s hushed peak. While there are dozens of nearby trails, spanning over 250 kilometres, you’ll also want to explore Southern Manitoba’s secluded backcountry. There are several online resources and maps of the area, but feel free to ask co-owners Sacha and TJ Harder for their favorite hidden gems. You can pick up trails directly from our property that cross several beautiful lakes, including vast West Hawk Lake, skinny Falcon Lake, and unique Caddy Lake. The West Hawk/Falcon Loop is our most popular trail. This scenic route provides access to High Lake Trail and Zubeck Trail. All groomed trails feature warming huts along the way as well as access to over a dozen lakes, including:

White-tailed deer, wolves, bald eagles, mink, and lynx frequent this peaceful landscape. Deer practically live on the edge of our couples-only resort. A lynx was spotted this week on Falcon Lake! Despite the roar of a snowmobile, these majestic animals aren’t afraid of sleds – you might even be able to snap an up-close photo if you’re lucky.
